10 lessons from Life

Last few days have been very challenging and helpless for me. I am in Coimbatore right now and will be leaving for Bangalore in few hours from now. I was here to attend a family wedding from the guy's side. This wedding was under discussion since last one and a half years. As it was a love marriage, it involved the usual persuasions and struggle that normally every Indian couple has to face. Every discussion has many point of views which (might) eventually leads to argument. This wedding discussion too became an argument and later turned into a fight.

Understanding, Maturity and Co-operation are must for any relationship. Offcourse, this should be from both the sides. One of them being kind, co-operative, matured and understanding will not be able to hold the relationship for a long time. All these key things were missing in the bride. To add on to this the bride was adamant, stubborn and had no respect for elders. The guy was so madly in love with the girl that he was not able to support what was right and was arguing unnecessarily with his parents. Still, it is difficult for me to believe my own eyes and ears for what I have seen and heard.

I don't know why I am writing this, but this wedding surely has taught me following important lessons in my life -
  1. A Girl has the ability to break or make a happy family.
  2. Love can (sometimes) make people deaf, dumb and blind (all at the same time).
  3. Every parent, somehow, has lots of patience when it comes to their children. They can keep trying to save their children from getting hurt in life.
  4. Parents can never stop thinking about your well being even if you have hurt them
  5. Never, ever hurt anybody, especially your parents. It definitely comes back to you in the same life in some or other form of sadness and leaves you helpless.
  6. It requires a lot of strength for a mother (father as well) to stay away from her so loved child. If she herself decides to stay away from her child that means she has been hurt a lot more than what she can tolerate.
  7. It is very difficult for your siblings to see you disrespecting your parents.
  8. Any happiness without family members or near ones seems meaningless.
  9. Don't raise your voice, improve your argument.
  10. There are somethings money can't buy, which I have already mentioned in my this blog, for everything else, there's Master Card :D
I have understood a lot about life and got most of my questions answered by this one incident. There surely is somebody called God who teaches you everything but in his own way.

Well, I am now thinking about one of  my friend who will not agree on the last statement I made, hope it gets a smile on his face when he reads this. :)

Happy Reading !
